The course will cover the relationship between political ideology and the legal system, focusing on how the ideology and values shape and influence legal institutions and the decision-making process. Students will examine this subject from a variety of perspectives across the political spectrum, as well as explore how class, race and gender play a role in our legal process, using key contemporary issues in the law as polestars for discussions.Faculty: STAFF
