MINDFULNESS AND END OF LIFE CARE

Catalog description

In this course, students will learn skills of mindfulness mediation practice and apply those skills in volunteer work with patients receiving hospice care. The course is designed to offer students an opportunity to ameliorate the suffering of dying patients in hospice care by volunteering with them. We will teach students ways to use contemplative practice skills as a way to connect with dying patients and their families.Faculty: C.FERRI, M.SPINELLA
