Catalog description

This course will provide students with a background and methods for examining contemporary issues in each of the world's major regions. This goal will be accomplished through the use of a geographic approach that utilizes information about the physical realm, history, and economic and political relationships to analyze and explain these issues. Students are expected to become literate about global affairs and to begin to understand the global circumstances in which business, political, and environmental decisions are made.Faculty: C. THOMSON
