Catalog description

If humanity is to rise to the task of stabilizing the climate by rapidly drawing down emissions from human activity, we need effective solutions at every scale, in every economic sector, and in all aspects of society and culture. Indeed, there are hundreds of viable (and less viable) solutions that have been developed, and even more being actively researched across natural and social science disciplines. But how do we make sense of these? What is the science behind the solutions? What may be standing in the way? How soon can they be implemented? Which ones may have disastrous spill-over effects? In this course you'll apply critical analysis to a wide range of strategies for meeting this great challenge.
