Catalog description

Although not required, suggested prerequisites: PSYC 1100 and/or BIOL 1400. What are the similarities and differences between animal species in how their minds work? What explains the diversity of how mental processes operate across the animal kingdom? This course aims to address those questions by exploring scientific studies of animal cognition from the fields of comparative psychology, evolutionary biology and ecology.
