GEOGRAPHY OF WINE

Catalog description

Students will gain a vertical understanding of the entire wine industry. Topics will include all aspects of wineries, with a focus on sustainability initiatives: soils and climate, grapes varietals and classifications, manufacturing of wine, equipment and processing, packaging and storage, marketing and distribution, wine heritage and tourism. This course will focus on and have many field trips in NJ.
