Catalog description
Technology has been the biggest driver of change in our physical environment over the last 150 years. This course explores the science behind forms of communication from primitive radio transmissions to digital and streaming video. Starting with the giants such as Tesla and Edison students will trace the history of electronic discourse, and through this course students will gain an understanding of how these changes in the science of communication and technology has shaped thinking and politics on a global scale.
