Catalog description

<b>Prerequisite:</b><i> High school algebra and geometry.</i><br>Observations have revealed a Universe more diverse and dynamic than we ever imagined: stars form in nebulae and die as supernovae, over 100 planets orbit other stars, the expansion of the universe is accelerating. All these new and exciting ideas are discussed in the framework of our current scientific understanding. The lectures are complemented by telescope observations and projects.<br><i>Faculty: N.
