Catalog description

Prerequisite: High school algebra and geometry.The Sun is a dynamic powerhouse whose activity is magnetically driven, two of the moons of the outer solar system are volcanic, one has an ocean and another could supply our power needs for millions of years. All these new and exciting observations are discussed within the framework of our current scientific understanding. Lectures are complemented by observations and projects.Faculty: N. JEVTIC
