Prerequisite: High school biology and chemistry.An exploration of components and processes that occur within a cell and how disruptions in these lead to disease states. A variety of diseases will be discussed including those based in nutrition as well as genetically transmitted, bacterial and viral diseases and AIDS and cancer.
