This course is designed as a "travelogue" to locations around the globe documenting the state-of-the-world's fisheries. Major topics include: geographic regions that showcase classic examples of fishing effects, how fishing activities directly and indirectly impact marine organisms, and the intersection between conservation, politics, and socioeconomics.Not open to those with credit for GNM 1123.
