Catalog description

Not open to freshmen or those with credit for GNM 1026. This course will examine two major paradigms in American health care: bio-medicine and holism. After briefly looking at their historical development, it will compare and contrast their principal theories and practices. A variety of alternative practitioners will be invited to class. The future of alternative medicine in the U.S. will also be discussed.Faculty: R. CAPLAN
