Catalog description

An introduction to venomous and poisonous animals. Emphasis on (1) aquatic invertebrates, (2) fish, (3) snakes, and (4) insects, spiders, and scorpions. Student will study the general biology of these major groups, with particular attention paid to those which are dangerous. Discussion of symptoms and treatments, ecology, and behavior.
