Catalog description

An introduction to basic geographic concepts for students planning to study Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Laboratory-based and self-paced. Students will move from topic to topic as they master the material. Students work at their own speed on the topics they need to learn. Each student will develop a project based on data from his/her field in the concluding part of the course.Faculty: C. THOMSON
