Open only to juniors and seniors.In this course, we are going to examine the history of the studies of human behavior, as well as modern evidence. Along with the assigned texts, we will be using a number of peer-reviewed papers from the fields of genetics and psychology. The focus will be on examining methodology, questioning the underlying assumptions, and trying to separate scientific evidence from wishful thinking and political agenda. We will focus on such traits as IQ, sexual orientation, addiction, and mental illness.Faculty: E. SEDIA
