Catalog description

This class will investigate the implications of climate change for various types of conflict, with a particular emphasis on genocide. We will study and discuss the stresses and strains imposed on communities due to changes in climate from both a historical perspective and as a predictive analysis. In particular, we will investigate the risk for the development of genocidal ideologies and policies as communities struggle to cope with the changes imposed by a warming world.
