Catalog description
Students will examine the ways women have challenged patriarchal narratives through the lens of protest. Through readings, experiential learning, and critical reflection, students will investigate the historical, social, political, and cultural forces that shape the lives of women. Emphasis will be placed on women in American society; however, students will also reflect on feminist thinking and protest of women around the world.
