Catalog description

This seminar will explore the scientific, multicultural, and humanistic approaches to understanding the HIV/AIDS pandemic. The course focuses on the causes, biopsychosocial-spiritual aspects, and ethical dilemmas associated with AIDS. A history of epidemics and the historical significance and influence of HIV/AIDS on contemporary culture, science, and society will be examined.
