Catalog description
In this course, students will learn about the history of quilts in the world, focusing on N. America. Students will examine quilts through literature, history, material culture, anthropology, geometry, women's studies, art history, and visual art with an emphasis on fiber arts. Students will produce collaborative pieces of sewing, individual pieces and written projects.
