Catalog description

Ore deposits are amongst the most important societal resources and often form from hydrothermal fluids. This course will investigate the different types of ore deposits, and how and where they form. The nature of hydrothermal fluids will be examined from a physio-chemical point of view and related to one genisis. Course includes lecture, lab, and a weekend field trip. Offered in odd-numbered Springs.
