Catalog description

A study of Earth through time; methods of deciphering the past; development of life, fossils, and the evolution of the invertebrates. This course is preparation for work in stratigraphy, structure or groundwater. Basic concepts in geologic mapping, rock deposition sequences and their interpretation extend student knowledge gained in Physical Geology (GEOL 2101). Field trips.
