Catalog description

The study of the Earth including its structure, the materials of which it is composed, and the physical processes which shape its evolution. Specifically, we will examine geologic time, rocks and minerals, plate tectonics, earthquakes, folds, faults, mountain building, hydrology, weathering, soil formation, glaciation, and surficial processes affecting coastal areas and arid regions.
