WRITING TUTOR PRACTICUM

Permission of Instructor required.This course is required for Writing Center tutors. Course material includes a review of English grammar and usage along with the techniques of effective tutoring. Other topics include an appreciation of non-verbal and intercultural communication. Weekly class meetings along with four hours a week tutoring in the Writing Center. Admission to the Practicum is by permission of instructor, with faculty sponsorship required.
