Not open to freshmen. Not open to students who have completed GEN 1045 for credit. A focus on the literacy skills and expertise needed to be successful consumers, employees, entrepreneurs, and citizens. The economic and social context in which people exercise their skills and that affects their capabilities will be emphasized. Students will explore policy applications through directed research.
