International/multicultural course. (I)The objective of this course is to introduce recent advances and current issues related to Homeland Security and Geographic Information Systems. GIS will play a vital role in integrating information, organizations and people in homeland security issues. The course will provide the fundamental, working vocabulary and appropriate knowledge necessary for further advanced studies in national security and geographic information systems. Students will get a better understanding and appreciation of our obligation to homeland security in today's world.Faculty: A. HERATH
