Catalog description

Students in this course will have the unique opportunity to examine surfing and surf culture through a variety of interdisciplinary perspectives, by completing several different types of writing assignments, and by participating in number of "hands on" experiences. The topic covered will include the history, politics, science, and business of surfing, as well as representations of surfers from pop culture.
