Catalog description

International/multicultural course.This course provides important aspects of Modern Asia's cultural history, beliefs, practices and organizational forms of worship, political institutions, economic development, cyber space, modern technologies, education, and areas of conflict and collaboration in the region. Different sections of the course will focus on the role of East Asian countries like Japan and China in the modern world. Possible topics include the role of SARC, ASIAN, WHO, UNICEF, WORLD BANK, NGOs, and the UN.Faculty: A. HERATH
