Catalog description

This course offers an orientation to real estate. It covers the real estate market and the economy impact on real estate market. For example, topics include housing affordability, homeownership, appraisals, brokerage, mortgages and financial crisis. As assignments and projects, students will discuss and evaluate journal articles. For example, students will choose a "dream house" and evaluate the house value.
