Permission of Instructor/Service Learning Course. This course aims to prepare fifteen (15) students to participate and complete a service-learning project in NAFSA 2018 conference on May 27-June 1, 2018 in Philadelphia, PA. Students will read materials and discuss about the latest trends and topics of global learning and strategies to develop effective intercultural communication. At the conference, students are expected to participate in a variety of pre-selected sessions on global learning, broadcast Stockton using social media, perform the exhibitor's role at the Stockton booth at the Expo Hall, collect and compile the contact information of attendees at the Stockton booth, experience unique interactions with attendees from various professional, geographic, and cultural perspectives and backgrounds, and share their experience at various Stockton events.
