Catalog description

The primary objective is to assist the student in achieving a greater appreciation for logical, convincing speech. The course will focus on critical thinking, critical listening, and effective speaking. Course content consists of brief lectures, textbook reading and oral communication exercises. Each student is required to deliver three speeches and be involved in two group debates.
