International/multicultural course. (I)This course is designed to introduce students to a selection of world literature short stories from a postcolonial perspective. The course focuses on the themes of politics and displacement in the works of contemporary authors coming from Caribbean, Latin America, and from other postcolonial areas of the world. While introducing the student to the socio-economic and historical context in which the selected short stories and other literary works were written, the course emphasized the following issues: gender, race, Diaspora and Exile.Faculty: G.
