Catalog description

Health narratives offer opportunities for us to empathize with others, to identify structural problems, and to imagine new ways to practice medicine. In this course, students will develop an understanding of the shortcomings of the US healthcare system, and literary works can be a tool to address these issue through listening, reading, analysis and inquiry.
