Arts course (A).In this course we'll explore collaboration in 20th century American art and poetry and use the knowledge we gain to create art and writing curriculum. We'll look at examples of collaborative visual art and poetry particularly with attention to the Abstract Expressionist and New York School painters and poets; we'll think about collaborative art's history and philosophy, the purposes of art within local communities and write about masterpieces of art people have made together.Faculty: C.
