Catalog description

An introduction to literature written by and about transgender people, this course focused on both historical and contemporary authors. Transgender incorporates identities including female-to-male, male-to-female, non-binary, agender, and gender queer. Trans literature has helped those who identify as trans to understand themselves, educated other about the lives of trans people, and created greater cultural acceptance.
