Arts course (A).This course provides an introduction to American art with a focus on New Jersey examples. We will concentrate on major developments and styles in art, with an emphasis on artists who lived or worked in the Garden state and buildings located in New Jersey. A variety of forms will be considered including painting, sculpture, architecture, prints, photography, and crafts, as well as the historical setting in which they were created. This is an excellent introductory course to art for non-art majors.Faculty: K. OGDEN
