Catalog description

This course will cover four specific aspects: dance, music, songs and poetry, beginning with contemporary expressions and exponents of this tradition, examining the creative activity which nurtured and maintained this mostly amateur, folk heritage through the intensity, dedication, genius and sheer enjoyment of the people. Recalling the bardic music of the harpists, dancing masters at their crossroad dances, the Celtic mists of storied, songs, poems and Gaelic language too.
