DRAWING ATLANTIC CITY

Catalog description

This class will use the boardwalk as a model for the development of basic drawing skills. Students will learn basically to draw what they see, do so in a personal way, and to have a grasp of the range of possibilities in drawing. The local history of this tiny post-modern "city" will be explored through readings and discussion. Themes of old and new, transformation, decay and revival will be articulated. Faculty: M. McCann
