International/multicultural subscript course (I).This overview of Italian art and culture, from Rome through the 20th century, addresses the historical, philosophical roots of Italian artistic productions. Roman monuments, painting, sculpture and architecture of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Mannerist, and Modernist (Futurism and Metaphysical Painting) periods, and film (Neorealist, etc.) will be explored.Faculty: M.
