Open only to freshmen. This is a freshman seminar.This freshman seminar will explore different approaches to writing about film. Each week students will view a feature film, discuss it in class, and then write an essay. The aim of the class is to understand the variety of perspectives available in film analysis, and to develop critical writing skills. Students will be graded on in-class discussion, in-class writings, and film essays.Faculty: J.RUBENSTEIN
