Open to freshmen only. This is a freshman seminar. This course will investigate philosophical, ethical, mythological and literary issues within the HBO series True Blood. Themes include immortality, death, faith, love, the fantastic, and meta-themes, such as popular culture and the humanities, film as philosophy, and the philosophy of mythology.Faculty: L. PRIVITELLO
