Catalog description

This course is an introduction to ancient Greek and Roman mythology through an examination of literature and art. We will investigate the principal myths and the many and varied mythological figures as well as explore the sagas of ancient Greece and Rome. We will also consider how later cultures received these myths and altered them to fit their own literature, art, and film.
