Arts Course (A). This is a Freshman Seminar. Open only to freshmen. This course introduces the theory and technique of modern dance at the beginning level. Broad exposure to modern dance concepts is provided through discussions, lectures, readings, experiential dance technique, improvisational experiences, films and concerts. These experiences help foster a critical understanding of modern dance as a historic and contemporary art form. Faculty: R. Ross
