FACILITIES MANAGEMENT, ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGAL TOPICS IN EXERCISE SCIENCE

Catalog description

This course will review established policies and procedures for the management of health fitness facilities based on accepted safety and legal guidelines, standards and regulations. Risk management guidelines for a health/fitness facility, an effective injury prevention program, human resources best practices, marketing programs and managing fiscal resources will be discussed. This course has a Service Learning component.
