Catalog description

This course focuses on water, energy, and natural resource management and stewardship issues in the US Northwest. The impact of urban and agricultural development on water and energy demand and natural resource management in the US Northwest will be discussed. The three week field trip from early to late June covers Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona and Washington ($950 surcharge). Prerequisites: ENVL 2100 AND ENVL 2200 AND ENVL 2400 AND ENVL 2600 with a grade of C or better.
