Prerequisite: ENVL 2400 or equivalent, ENVL 2200 or equivalent.(Cross-Listed as BIOL 4316) Forest Ecology is the study of structure, function, and composition of forests. The course will study forests at various scales. Students will be asked to draw on their fundamental training to understand biotic, a biotic, and human impact on short and long-term nature of forested ecosystems.
