Catalog description

The course is open to those with a previous basic statistics course. We will explore a broad range of statistical procedures found in ecological/environmental fields including various ANOVA models (factorial, nested, etc.), multiple regression, and use of EDAs to meet test assumptions. We will also explore some multivariate techniques such as cluster analysis and ordination. If time allows we will study some spatial statistical procedures such as point pattern analysis. The primary computer package used will be SAS (Statistical Analysis System) and when needed other appropriate software.Faculty: G.L. ZIMMERMANN
