SCHOOL LAW

Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive view of State and Federal laws that govern New Jersey Public Schools. Students will review current and past issues, including the structure of public school districts, their governance and operation, personnel issues, thorough and efficient education, and students' rights and responsibilities. Students will review current case law so that future school leaders manage schools in accordance with law and thus reduce unintended litigation.
