Catalog description

This course merges in-depth examination of thematic or generic material with pedagogical discussions; in each course, students employ interdisciplinary learning and skills integration. Attention is given to differentiated instructional strategies and opportunities for active learning. Forgoing connections to prior knowledge is emphasized a necessary component of learning and retention. Opportunities for modeling with each course are continually assessed.
