INTEGRATING MATH AND SCIENCE INSTRUCTION

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Any three of the following courses for Math: EDUC 5370, EDUC 5371, EDUC 5372, EDUC 5373. Any three of the following courses for Science: EDUC 5310, EDUC 5311, EDUC 5312, EDUC 5313. Exploring connections between middle school math and science topics; utilizing mathematics as a tool in the sciences; examining the reciprocal relationship between developments in mathematics and in the natural and physical sciences; designing and implementing integrative curriculum.
