METHODS OF ELEMENTARY LANGUAGE ARTS LITERACY

Catalog description

This course examines research-based practices for implementing literacy instruction including phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, word recognition, guided reading, and strategies for supporting reading comprehension and writing. Students will explore differentiation, meaningful assessment, technology integration and the effective implementation of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
